Privacy policy
Momentumtracker EU publishes public data about Europe's competitiveness. Reading the site requires no account, and we collect as little about you as we can while still knowing whether the work is being read.
Who is responsible
Momentumtracker EU is published by Danish Entrepreneurs (Danske Iværksættere), an association registered in Denmark and the organisation behind dkiv.dk. It is the data controller: it decides what is collected here and why, and it is the party you address about any of it.

What we collect
Nothing you type. There is no account, no login, no newsletter form and no comment field on this site.
Analytics, only if you accept. If you accept analytics cookies we load Google Analytics, which records which pages you open, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you use. Your IP address is processed by Google to work that out. We see totals and trends, never a named person. If you decline, none of this happens. See the cookie policy for the detail.
Server logs. Our web server records the usual request lines: an IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user agent. This is how a server is operated and how abuse is spotted. The logs are rotated daily and kept for 14 days, after which they are deleted.
Why we are allowed to
For analytics, because you gave consent, and you can withdraw it at any time on the cookie policy page. For server logs, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
Who else sees it
Google, as the provider of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and only if you accepted. Our hosting provider, as the operator of the servers. Danish Entrepreneurs runs the platform itself and keeps no separate copy of anything about you. Nobody buys data from us, because we do not sell it.
Analytics data may be processed outside the EU under Google's own transfer safeguards. Declining analytics avoids that entirely.
What you can do
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and ask for a copy. In practice we hold very little that could be tied to you at all. Write to the address on the about page and we will answer.
You can also complain to your national data protection authority. In Denmark that is Datatilsynet.
Children
The site is written for policymakers, investors, founders and journalists. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will ask for consent again rather than assume the old answer still holds. The date at the top says when it was last changed.
