    Data sources

Every number on Momentumtracker EU names its source. We use first-hand data wherever it exists, the World Bank, Eurostat, OECD, WIPO, HuggingFace, energy transparency platforms and stock exchanges, and every chart carries its source and the date of the latest data point.

Indicators marked Live update automatically. Indicators marked Coming soon are shown without numbers until verified data is in place; we never display placeholders as facts. How the Momentum Index combines these sources is set out under weights & method.

    Under the hood

    The data engine

Every number on this site is fetched by our own backend directly from the services below, cached with its retrieval date, and served with its source attached. When a service is temporarily unreachable, the site keeps the last verified data instead of showing gaps, and no service requires a paid subscription.
